I think that facing god — or whatever someone’s idea of the energy of the universe is -, to face it, and to be loving and open in the face of everything, no matter what, is the most courageous thing that anyone can do, because it can be very, very painful.
And life is a thing where, to remain loving, and to remain kind, and to remain with your heart open, and to remain giving and loving, no matter what situation you’re in, is the way that you’re gonna grow the most, and go to the most highest level of what you can ever be, but it’s also gonna be the most difficult painful thing you can ever do, and it takes tremendous courage to do it. But that’s the way you gonna grow.
